SNC-LAVALIN RETAINS INVESTMENT GRADE RATING

In its annual review today, Standard & Poor's (S&P) lowered SNC-Lavalin's (TSX: SNC) credit rating one notch to BBB with a negative outlook, while retaining the Company's investment grade status.

SNC-Lavalin (TSX : SNC) announces that Ric Sorbo, Acting Executive Vice-President in charge of the Oil & Gas business unit, has decided to leave the Company in order to pursue other opportunities. Until a replacement is found, Neil Bruce, President, Resources, Environment & Water, will assume direct responsibility for the business unit, effective immediately.
