SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, SNC-Lavalin Power Inc., has signed a US $142 million contract with Fibrominn LLC for the engineering, procurement and construction of a nominal 50 MW biomass fueled power plant in the city of Benson, Minnesota.

SNC-Lavalin Energy Control Systems Inc. (ECS) has been awarded a contract to upgrade NSTAR Electric & Gas Corporation's Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The contract includes the supply of new Energy Management System (EMS) applications.

SNC-Lavalin ProFac Inc., Canada's leading facility management service provider, is pleased to announce it has signed several contracts with Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) to provide comprehensive property and project management for 319 buildings in the federal government's real property portfolio. The contracts encompass a total of 2.9 million square metres, and represent the largest such service contract in Canada. The buildings are located from coast to coast.

SNC-Lavalin has been awarded a US $79.3 million contract by the Kuwait Oil Company (K.S.C.) to upgrade, modify and expand its currently operational "GC-27" Crude Oil Gathering Centre and related facilities.

SNC-Lavalin Inc. is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement to acquire all remaining shares of Canatom NPM Inc. held by AECON Construction Group Inc., and will become the sole owner of the Toronto company.
